3DIMLI Platform FAQ

Question 1

What is 3DIMLI and how is it different?

Accepted Answer

3DIMLI is a creator storefront and digital commerce platform. It lets creators and small businesses run their own digital product stores without a platform middleman holding payouts. It is built as a stronger direct alternative to Gumroad, Ko-fi, Payhip, SendOwl, Sellfy, Lemon Squeezy, Stan Store, and similar platforms for sellers who want more control over branding, storefront ownership, payouts, customer relationships, and AI-powered store management.

Question 2

Is 3DIMLI only for 3D models?

Accepted Answer

No. 3DIMLI started with 3D roots, but today it is a broader digital commerce platform. 3D models are just one supported category alongside digital downloads, software, games, AI models, graphics, audio, video, ebooks, link products, and bookable sessions.

Question 3

What platforms is 3DIMLI an alternative to?

Accepted Answer

3DIMLI is a direct alternative to creator storefront and digital product platforms such as Gumroad, Ko-fi, Payhip, SendOwl, Sellfy, Lemon Squeezy, Stan Store, Whop, Shopify, and WooCommerce. For many digital sellers, it is the stronger option because it combines branded storefront ownership, direct payouts, broader product support, variants, built-in SEO, bulk uploads, and AI-powered management in one platform.

Question 4

Why is 3DIMLI better than Gumroad, Ko-fi, Payhip, and SendOwl?

Accepted Answer

3DIMLI gives creators a broader and more seller-owned stack: branded storefronts, direct payouts, product variants with variant-specific files and pricing, built-in SEO, bulk uploads from the desktop app, support for software, games, AI models, graphics, audio, video, ebooks, 3D models, and bookable sessions, plus MCP-powered AI workflows. Gumroad, Ko-fi, Payhip, and SendOwl each cover parts of that journey, but 3DIMLI is designed to bring the full creator storefront workflow together in one place.

Question 5

What do I need to start selling on 3DIMLI?

Accepted Answer

To sell on 3DIMLI, you need an eligible payment account from our catalog of 39 supported gateways and at least one digital product you own the rights to. Indian sellers can use Stripe, Razorpay, PayU, or Cashfree where eligible. Sellers in Turkey can use iyzico. Once your account is ready, upload your product, set a price, and your store can go live without coding.

Question 6

What can I sell on 3DIMLI?

Accepted Answer

You can sell digital products like downloads, software, games, AI models, graphics, audio, video files, ebooks, link products, 3D models, bookable sessions and appointments, and more. 3D is only one category among many. Physical products are not allowed.

Question 7

Does 3DIMLI support software and game license verification?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Software and Games products can use 3DIMLI's built-in license verification API. Buyers receive a license key, based on the Order Item ID, after purchase, and your app or launcher can verify that key and unlock the correct license tier.

Question 8

Does 3DIMLI provide an MCP connector for Claude?

Accepted Answer

Yes. 3DIMLI provides an OAuth-enabled MCP connector so Claude can work with your 3DIMLI account for profile settings, purchases, downloads, seller store settings, and seller product management.

Question 9

What can I do with the 3DIMLI MCP connector?

Accepted Answer

You can connect Claude to 3DIMLI to read and update account details, list purchases and downloads, verify and update seller store settings, and manage seller product content, audits, scheduling, publishing, and unpublishing.

Question 10

How big is the user base?

Accepted Answer

As of now, we have 118+ sellers and 885+ buyers registered in just the last two months.

Question 11

How do customers buy and how do I get paid?

Accepted Answer

Customers pay through your own eligible provider account. Choose from 39 supported gateways. Payments go straight to your account. 3DIMLI does not handle or hold your money; it provides the selling tools.

Question 12

Is 3DIMLI free to use?

Accepted Answer

3DIMLI uses a subscription-based model. Sellers can choose a Fixed plan at $25/month or a Flexible plan billed at 8% of finalized sales after each calendar month. If you make no sales, there is no Flexible invoice. There are no listing fees, and every sale still goes 100% to your connected payment account because platform billing happens separately.

Question 13

Can I customize my store?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every seller gets a dedicated public storefront once they complete seller onboarding, ready to sell. You can take it further with the built-in no-code Website Builder: drag and drop sections, add reusable content blocks, and set global colors and typography to design custom store pages that feel like yours, no coding required. Every account can publish 1 page for free, and the Website Builder add-on unlocks unlimited pages and sections.

Question 14

How do I promote my products?

Accepted Answer

You get direct links to your products and store, which you can share anywhere on social media, your website, or via email. 3DIMLI also includes a built-in discount and coupon manager so you can create reusable product-only offers, assign them globally, per license, or per variant, and run targeted campaigns without extra plugins. The dashboard also helps you track sales and performance.

Question 15

Can I create discounts and coupons for specific licenses or variants?

Accepted Answer

Yes. 3DIMLI includes a built-in discount and coupon manager for product-only offers. You can create reusable discounts and coupons, then assign them globally to the whole product, per license, or per variant with their own validity windows, usage limits, and coupon codes.

Question 16

What types of discounts and coupons can I create?

Accepted Answer

You can create percentage-based discounts such as 20 percent off or flat-amount discounts in your store currency. Coupons work the same way but require a code the buyer enters at checkout. Both types support per-license and per-variant targeting, so you can offer a 10 percent discount on Standard licenses but 5 percent on Commercial licenses for the same product.

Question 17

Can I set a minimum purchase amount for a coupon?

Accepted Answer

Yes. When creating a coupon you can set a minimum order amount so the coupon only applies when the buyer's cart meets that threshold. This lets you run fixed-amount promotions only when an order reaches the store-currency minimum you choose.

Question 18

Can discounts and coupons be combined on the same purchase?

Accepted Answer

By default, only one discount or coupon applies per product at checkout. Sellers can mark a promotion as stackable to allow it to combine with other active offers on the same product, but this is opt-in and off by default to prevent unintended price reductions.

Question 19

Can I set different discount values for different licenses on the same product?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Each license or variant target within a discount or coupon can have its own value override. For example, you can create a single promotion that gives 20 percent off the Standard license and 10 percent off the Commercial license, each with its own validity window.

Question 20

When did 3DIMLI launch?

Accepted Answer

3DIMLI officially launched on 11 June 2025 on Product Hunt.

Question 21

Why is it called 3DIMLI?

Accepted Answer

It began as a small store for our own 3D models, and the name stayed. We later expanded it into a full creator-commerce platform for many kinds of digital products.

Question 22

What about restricted content such as weapons or militaria?

Accepted Answer

3DIMLI flags certain keywords such as gun or rifle for manual review to help maintain legal safety and platform compliance.

Question 23

Is my data safe?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Payments are handled by the seller’s eligible provider from our catalog of 39 gateways, subject to eligibility, and 3DIMLI does not store your financial information. Security is treated seriously across the platform.

Question 24

Who owns the rights to uploaded content?

Accepted Answer

You, the creator, keep full ownership and rights. 3DIMLI does not claim or use your content.

Question 25

Will AI be allowed to train on my uploads?

Accepted Answer

No. AI training on user content is strictly not allowed. Your content is protected.

Question 26

Do 2D game assets such as tilesets, UI, and backgrounds count as digital products?

Accepted Answer

Yes. 3DIMLI supports a dedicated Games product type, and game asset packs can also be listed under Graphics or 3D Models when that fits the content better.

Question 27

Can I request new categories?

Accepted Answer

Yes. There is a request-category channel in the 3DIMLI Discord community where you can propose new categories.

Question 28

Why are some products priced at a specific amount? Is that a rule?

Accepted Answer

No. Sellers choose their own prices in their store currency. A specific price is simply one seller's choice.

Question 29

Can I upload free products? Do I get credits for downloads?

Accepted Answer

You can upload free products to attract more customers and showcase your work. Free downloads do not give credits, but they can bring people to your store. When someone buys your product, their details are added to your customer list in the dashboard so you can reach out to them later and market future products.

Question 30

How can you offer 100% earnings? Is it sustainable?

Accepted Answer

Payments always go directly into your connected payment account, so 3DIMLI is not withholding part of each checkout. The Fixed plan charges $25/month for 0% platform fee on sales, while the Flexible plan invoices 8% of finalized sales after the month closes. That separate billing model keeps payouts direct while still making the platform sustainable.

Question 31

Which payment gateways do you support?

Accepted Answer

Established options include PayPal, Stripe, Razorpay, Freedom Pay Classic, Octo, Paystack, Flutterwave, PayU, Cashfree, PhonePe, Amazon Pay, iyzico, Airwallex, Mollie, Przelewy24, Montonio, Super Payments, Dintero, Revolut Merchant, Fintoc, Frisbii Pay (Reepay), PayU Europe, Viva.com, BlueSnap, Unzer, wallee, MultiSafepay, Worldline Online Payments, 2C2P, Braintree, Peach Payments, Xendit, Authorize.net, Omise, Quickpay, Mercado Pago, Tap, PayMongo, Midtrans, subject to account eligibility and platform settings. Recent additions include Frisbii Pay (Reepay), Montonio, PayU Europe, Omise, Quickpay, Mercado Pago, Midtrans, Fintoc, MultiSafepay, BlueSnap, wallee, Revolut Merchant, Xendit, Airwallex, Mollie, PayMongo, Tap, Authorize.net, Braintree, Peach Payments, 2C2P, Worldline Online Payments, Unzer, Viva.com, Dintero, Super Payments, Przelewy24, PhonePe and Amazon Pay. See the payment gateway catalogue for current live availability. Google Pay is a buyer payment method through a compatible connected gateway, not a separate seller gateway account. Montonio supports Google Pay for eligible EUR card checkouts. In India, Cashfree can offer Google Pay, PhonePe and Amazon Pay as UPI apps when enabled for the merchant, buyer and device. A UPI app appearing at checkout does not mean the seller has connected that brand's gateway. Provider approval, currency, payment method and seller country determine availability; no gateway accepts every seller or card.

Question 32

What if my preferred payment gateway is not available in my country?

Accepted Answer

3DIMLI supports seller-connected gateways from the catalog of 39 supported gateways where eligible. If none are available in your region, let the team know and they can work on expanding support.

Question 33

Is there a withdraw system?

Accepted Answer

No. You get paid instantly to your connected payment account when a sale happens, with no waiting, no minimum balance, and no withdraw button required.

Question 34

What are product variants and how do they work?

Accepted Answer

Variants let you offer different editions of the same product, like Standard vs Pro, platform-specific builds, or bundles, each with its own pricing, files, media, colors, and attributes. Buyers see clear options on a single product page instead of separate listings.

Question 35

How do bulk uploads work?

Accepted Answer

Bulk uploads let you publish multiple products at once. You can upload a batch of products, apply pricing and categories in bulk, and use the desktop app watch-folder feature to auto-detect new files and queue them for publishing. It is useful for large catalogs or migrations from another platform.

Question 36

Can I build my own website with 3DIMLI?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every seller gets a dedicated public storefront once they complete seller onboarding - ready to list and sell. On top of that, the no-code Website Builder lets you customize and build your store exactly how you like: drag and drop sections, reuse content blocks, and set global colors and typography. And you don't have to sell to use it - any user can build their own website, personal page, or portfolio at their own 3DIMLI URL. Every account can publish 1 page for free, and the Website Builder add-on unlocks unlimited pages and sections.

Question 37

Does 3DIMLI have an affiliate program?

Accepted Answer

Yes. 3DIMLI runs an affiliate program, powered by Lemon Squeezy, that pays 20% recurring commission on every plan a creator you refer subscribes to, for as long as they stay subscribed. You get a unique referral link to share, and you can track referred signups and earnings from the Affiliates section of your dashboard.

Question 38

What is the best website builder for selling digital products?

Accepted Answer

You can customize your store with the no-code Website Builder, and there are no listing fees.

Question 40

Does 3DIMLI integrate with my other tools?

Accepted Answer

Yes. 3DIMLI connects to the tools you already use across five categories: analytics (Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel, Segment, Customer.io, DataFast, and Dub), cloud storage (Google Drive and Dropbox), email providers (Resend, SendGrid, Gmail, MailerLite, AutoSend, and Loops), real-time notifications (Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, and Google Chat), and workflow automation (n8n and Zapier), plus a Claude MCP connector for AI. You set everything up from the Integrations page in your seller dashboard - no code required.

Question 41

Can I connect 3DIMLI to Zapier, Google Analytics, or Slack?

Accepted Answer

Yes. For workflow automation you can connect Zapier to trigger flows across thousands of apps, or n8n via webhook. For analytics, add Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel for page views, product views, and purchases, plus server-side options like Segment, Customer.io, DataFast, and Dub. For notifications, get real-time sale, review, and refund alerts in Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, or Google Chat. You can also auto-upload deliverables to Google Drive or Dropbox and send store emails through your own provider such as Resend, SendGrid, Gmail, MailerLite, AutoSend, or Loops. All of it is configured from the Integrations page in your seller dashboard.
